First Determination of the Spin-Parity of Ξ_{c}(3055)^{+,0} Baryons.

The Ξ_{b}^{0(-)}→Ξ_{c}(3055)^{+(0)}(→D^{+(0)}Λ)π^{-} decay chains are observed, and the spin-parity of Ξ_{c}(3055)^{+(0)} baryons is determined for the first time. The measurement is performed using proton-proton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13  TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4  fb^{-1}, recorded by the LHCb experiment between 2016 and 2018.

Histopathological and Clinical-Genetic Analysis of Corneal Specimens in Maroteaux-Lamy Syndrome.

Purpose: Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome (MPSVI) is a rare lysosomal storage disorder caused by an Arylsulfatase B (ARSB) deficiency, leading to dermatan sulfate and chondroitin-4-sulfate accumulation. It manifests various systemic clinical features. Enzyme Replacement Therapy with Galsulfase (Naglazyme) manages systemic symptoms, but ocular manifestations, such as corneal opacity, often require surgery.

Synthesis and Evaluation of Boron-Containing Heterocyclic Compounds with Antimicrobial and Anticancer Activities.

Organoboron compounds, especially those containing boronic acid and benzoxaborole in their structure, have been gaining prominence in medicinal chemistry, following the FDA approval of tavaborole for the treatment of onychomycosis and bortezomib for multiple myeloma. The antimicrobial and anticancer effects of organoboron compounds motivate the investigation of the effects of the novel derivatives described here. A total of fourteen new boronic derivatives were synthesized and characterized using analytical methods.

Growth Parameters and Growth-Related Hormone Profile in a Herd of Cattle up to 4 Years of Age Derived from Assisted Reproductive Technologies.

Assisted reproductive technologies (ART) are routinely used in livestock to generate animals of high genetic value. Despite representing an outstanding accomplishment, recent studies suggest differences in health, fertility, and gestational length of in vitro-produced compared to in vivo-derived animals. Currently, there are no data available on the long-term effects of ART on growth and development.

ASSESSMENT OF ECHOCARDIOGRAPHIC PARAMETERS IN HEALTHY FREE-RANGING GIANT ANTEATERS ().

The aim of this study was to conduct Doppler echocardiography on healthy free-ranging anteaters () and to evaluate the relationship between echocardiographic parameters of diagnostic importance and animal body weight (BW). This work utilized 8 anesthetized adult animals and 4 manually restrained pups. The echocardiographic examinations were performed with the animal in left lateral recumbency.
