Purpose: This study compares transcranial Doppler (TCD) Pulsatility Index (PI) and Resistivity Index (RI) with intra-operative CSF opening pressure measured by manometric technique during ventriculoperitoneal (V-P) shunt in children with hydrocephalus.

Methods: It was a prospective, hospital-based study performed among patients diagnosed with hydrocephalus. Patients had TCD ultrasonography before V-P shunt.

Background: Colour duplex Doppler is a noninvasive tool for the evaluation of the vascular mechanism of erectile dysfunction (ED). It can be used to determine the integrity of the vascular mechanism and to differentiate between arterial and venous insufficiency.

Objectives: To identify the vasculogenic causes of ED and subclassify them into arteriogenic, venogenic, or mixed to assist in predicting the clinical outcome.

Introduction: There is no consensus on which imaging modality is better for the detection of metastatic cervical lymph nodes in orofacial malignancies. This study evaluates the efficacy of computed tomography (CT) and ultrasonography (US) in diagnosis of metastatic cervical lymph nodes in orofacial cancer.

Materials And Methods: Sixty patients with various histologically diagnosed orofacial malignant lesions and clinical evidence of cervical lymph node metastasis were examined using US and CT.

Background: There is uncertainty surrounding the choice of a better imaging modality to detect metastases in cervical lymph nodes. The aim of this study is to examine the role of Ultrasound in the diagnosis of metastatic cervical lymph nodes in orofacial malignancies in a resource limited environment and the effect of the radiologist's experience in interpretation of the results.

Methods: Sixty patients with various histologically diagnosed orofacial malignancies and clinical evidence of cervical lymph nodes metastases were examined with ultrasound by a consultant and a trainee radiologist.
