Background: Anti-CD19 CAR-T therapy has been a breakthrough in treatment of primary refractory or relapsed large B-cell lymphoma (r/r LBCL) and is poised to supplant previous second line of high dose chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplantation (HDT/ASCT). However, in clinical practice, high risk patients with chemoimmunotherapy sensitive disease continue to receive salvage chemoimmunotherapy or cannot access CAR-T in a timely manner and thus may still proceed to HDT/ASCT. Little is known about clinical outcomes of CAR-T in patients who receive HDT/ASCT compared to those who are transplant-naïve.

Background: Mastopexy augmentation is a challenging procedure, and a technique to create desirable, consistent, predictable results with a low rate of problems has not been well standardized. The inherent difficulty lies in competing surgical maneuvers. This study sought to evaluate the authors' experience and describe the key concepts and steps that allow safe, efficient, predictable results with low complication and long-term reoperation rates.

The impact of asparaginases on plasma asparagine and glutamine is well established. However, the effect of asparaginases, particularly those derived from (also called crisantaspase), on circulating levels of other amino acids is unknown. We examined comprehensive plasma amino acid panel measurements in healthy immunodeficient/immunocompetent mice as well as in preclinical mouse models of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) using long-acting crisantaspase, and in an AML clinical study (NCT02283190) using short-acting crisantaspase.

Diabetes-related consumer health information technology (CHIT) has been designed to facilitate self-management practices, and its use has improved health outcomes for many consumers. This analysis sought to identify tendencies in diabetes-related CHIT research from 2010-2015 to help researchers find novel research topics, periodicals, collaborators, and funding agencies and experts and lay consumers to find scholarly information. Six search engines encompassing computer science, engineering, and medicine yielded potential diabetes-related CHIT publications.
