Hygienic insecticides are applied directly to the living environment and are closely related to human life. Dimefluthrin (DIM) is one of the most widely used hygienic insecticides globally. However, with increasing mosquito resistance, both the concentration and duration of DIM usage have risen, prompting public concerns regarding its neurotoxic risks, especially for immunocompromised children.

Tailoring Super-Performed Chemo-Sensor via Simulation-Modeling and MEMS-Screening.

Chemo-sensor designing involves a time-consuming trial-and-error screening process, which commonly cannot lead to optimal SR features (Sensitivity, Selectivity, Speed, Stability, and Reversibility). Due to strong path dependence on reported groups/mechanisms, conventional chemo-sensors often fail to meet critical application demands, especially in achieving high reversibility without compromising other features. Here, a three-step screen and design strategy is developed for gaining customized chemo-sensors, through Structure modeling; MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) analysis, and Performance verification.

Contemporary Use of Post-Dilatation for Stent Optimization During Percutaneous Coronary Intervention; Results From the Netherlands Heart Registration.

Backgrounds: Post-dilatation after stenting with a non-compliant (NC) balloon can be used to improve overall percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) result. Due to lack of evidence on the effect of post-dilatation on adverse clinical endpoints there is no consensus whether post-dilatation should be used routinely. The aim of the current study was to determine the contemporary practice of post-dilatation.
