Intratesticular epidermoid cyst: a rare tumor.

Unlabelled: Testicular epidermoid cyst is extremely rare injury, which in recent studies has been regarded as a tumor. Some authors consider this lesion as a cystic monodermal teratoma, the histogenesis remains controversial. In this study we provide clinical and morphological characteristics of an epidermoid cyst in the left testicle in a 16 years old patient, where apparently a nodular lesion in the left testicle was detected.

Extramammary paget disease of scrotum with oncocytic changes.

We report an unusual case of primary scrotal extramammary Paget disease that infiltrated reticular dermis and lymph vessels, with metastasis in inguinal lymph node. The 67-year-old patient died at 14 months due to systemic metastases. The tumor, which was located in epidermis and infiltrated the dermis, comprised cells with wide, granular, and eosinophilic cytoplasm and intense positivity for antimitochondrial antibody.

Multiple eccrine hidrocystomas on the upper lip: a case report.

Background: Multiple eccrine hidrocystomas of de upper lip are bening cystic lesions that are associated with a chronic course. It is reported in the literature as a rare pathology.

Case Report: We describe the case of a 60-year-old woman who was referred to the dermatology department for presenting multiple lesions translucent papular asymptomic two years of evolution on the upper lip.

In vitro interaction between psychotropic drugs and alcohol dehydrogenase activity.

A series of CNS-stimulating and -depressant drugs have been studied for their in vitro interaction with horse liver alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) activity. The depressant drugs studied included barbital, phenobarbital, thiopental, nitrazepam, chlorpromazine, sulpiride, clomethiazole, Li2CO3, diazepam, phenytoin, ethosuximide, morphine, and codeine. The stimulant drugs were theophylline, caffeine, amphetamine, imipramine, chlorimipramine, amitriptyline, and tranylcypromine.
