Unlabelled: Testicular epidermoid cyst is extremely rare injury, which in recent studies has been regarded as a tumor. Some authors consider this lesion as a cystic monodermal teratoma, the histogenesis remains controversial. In this study we provide clinical and morphological characteristics of an epidermoid cyst in the left testicle in a 16 years old patient, where apparently a nodular lesion in the left testicle was detected.

The 67-year-old patient died at 14 months due to systemic metastases. The tumor, which was located in epidermis and infiltrated the dermis, comprised cells with wide, granular, and eosinophilic cytoplasm and intense positivity for antimitochondrial antibody.

The depressant drugs studied included barbital, phenobarbital, thiopental, nitrazepam, chlorpromazine, sulpiride, clomethiazole, Li2CO3, diazepam, phenytoin, ethosuximide, morphine, and codeine. The stimulant drugs were theophylline, caffeine, amphetamine, imipramine, chlorimipramine, amitriptyline, and tranylcypromine.
