Motivation of nursing undergraduate program entrants: A scoping review protocol.

Motivation is of great importance in the teaching-learning process, because motivated students seek out opportunities and show interest and enthusiasm in carrying out their tasks. The objective of this review is to identify and present the information available in the literature on the status quo of motivation among nursing program entrants. This is a qualitative scoping review study, a type of literature review designed to map out and find evidence to address a specific research objective, following the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology.

Satisfaction and Workload as Predictors of Psychological Distress in Professionals of Psychosocial Care Centers During the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Background And Aims: The COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the mental health of healthcare professionals, especially those working in Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS), which are crucial services in the Brazilian mental health system. This study aimed to investigate the association between job satisfaction, workload, and psychological distress among CAPS professionals during the pandemic.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 53 professionals from seven CAPS.

Objective: The cochlear implant is a commonly used implantable device for the auditory rehabilitation of severe bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. The effectiveness of the implant, depends on many factors, including intensive auditory training, which is crucial. Intelligibility in a noisy environment is a current issue and poses a major difficulty for implanted patients.

Continuous assessment in medical education: Exploring students' views on the progress test.

The Progress Test (PT) is a valuable tool for the continuous assessment of medical students' learning. This quantitative, cross-sectional study aimed to understand the perceptions of 908 medical students (702 from a private and 206 from a public institution) in São Paulo, Brazil, regarding the design and implementation of PT. Analysis included descriptive statistics, Spearman's correlation, Pearson's Chi-square test, and Fisher's exact test.

Cumulative anticholinergic exposure and white matter hyperintensity burden in community-dwelling older adults.
