QCD challenges from pp to AA collisions: 4th edition.

This paper is a write-up of the ideas that were presented, developed and discussed at the fourth International Workshop on QCD Challenges from pp to AA, which took place in February 2023 in Padua, Italy. The goal of the workshop was to focus on some of the open questions in the field of high-energy heavy-ion physics and to stimulate the formulation of concrete suggestions for making progresses on both the experimental and theoretical sides. The paper gives a brief introduction to each topic and then summarizes the primary results.

Fertility-sparing strategy in a rare case of highly malignant Dicer-1-associated sarcoma of the cervix.

Introduction: We present the rare case of an 18-year-old patient with a Dicer-1 mutation-associated sarcoma of the cervix uteri.

Case: The patient presented with irregular vaginal bleeding in July 2022. The clinical examination showed an exophytic tumor of the cervix, uterus and ovaries were normal in sonogram.

A dramatic response to checkpoint inhibitor in a woman with small cell carcinoma of the hypercalcemic type of the ovary.

Objective: We present the rare case of a 21 year old woman with small cell carcinoma of the right ovary of the hypercalcemic type with dramatic response to checkpoint inhibitor.

Methods: Case report.

Results And Conclusions: Our patient, a 22-year old woman with small cell carcinoma of the hypercalcemic type with hepatic metastases, is currently 43 months under treatment with pembrolizumab.

Five Decades of Data Yield No Support for Adaptive Biasing of Offspring Sex Ratio in Wild Baboons ().

AbstractOver the past 50 years, a wealth of testable, often conflicting hypotheses have been generated about the evolution of offspring sex ratio manipulation by mothers. Several of these hypotheses have received support in studies of invertebrates and some vertebrate taxa. However, their success in explaining sex ratios in mammalian taxa-especially in primates-has been mixed.

Cooperation, coordination, or collaboration? A structured review of buyers' partnerships to support sustainable sourcing in supply chains.

The growing need of today's global supply chains for a paradigm shift to sustainability requires all supply chain members to establish partnership relationships. However, the existing literature fails to provide a comprehensive understanding of these partnerships. The present research contributes to understanding the nature and structure of the buyers' partnerships for enhancing sustainable sourcing.
