Development a predictive nomogram for spontaneous pleurodesis in patients with non-small cell lung cancer and malignant pleural effusion.

Background: Indwelling pleural catheter (IPC) insertion is associated with fewer subsequent procedures and higher rates of spontaneous pleurodesis (SP) in patients with malignant pleural effusion (MPE). However, long-term pleural drains may cause psychological and physical distress. Additionally, only a portion of patients can benefit from IPC insertion and ultimately have them removed.

The neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy set is the union of the neutrosophic set and hesitant fuzzy set in which each element has membership, neutrality, and non-membership arrays which verifies infrequency in labeling uncertainty in daily usage. We proposed two novel operators in this analysis that demonstrate evolution, one is the neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy partitioned Maclaurin symmetric mean (NHFPMSM) and the other is the neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy weighted partitioned Maclaurin symmetric mean (NHFWPMSM). These novels aim to draw inspiration from the partitioned Maclaurin symmetric mean concept.

The Usefulness of FDG PET-CT in the Routine Staging of Gastric Cancer: A Retrospective Analysis from the Lead Cancer Center, Pakistan.

Background: Accurate staging of tumors is paramount in the management of cancer patients. Current noninvasive modalities like computed tomography (CT) and fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (FDG PET) scan offer viable approaches to stage the disease; however, the role of FDG PET-CT in gastric cancer remains unclear, in comparison to esophageal and gastroesophageal junction cancers, where they have proven usefulness.

Aim: The primary outcome was to assess the usefulness of FDG PET-CT in staging gastric cancer in our population.

Background: Ventricular tachycardia (VT) is a common chronic complication of ischemic heart disease (IHD), even in the era of contemporary coronary intervention. The use of implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) has reduced mortality, but ICD shocks can be painful and traumatizing. Catheter ablation has been posited to reduce VT incidence and is commonly used in IHD patients when antiarrhythmic drugs do not suppress VT.

Generalized q-rung picture linguistic Schweizer and Sklar aggregation operators and their application in decision making.

The q-rung picture fuzzy sets act as a proficient and extensive extension of q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets and picture fuzzy sets within fuzzy set theory. The parameter q and the three real-valued membership functions enable us to perform better than existing approaches in describing mysterious data. Here, we built aggregation operators for the q-RPLFS framework using the Schweizer and Sklar (SS) operations.
