Introduction: In the backdrop of escalating healthcare costs and an increasing focus on resource optimization, this audit study delves into the realm of anesthesia management, specifically exploring the application of low-flow anesthesia (LFA). The primary objective was to assess adherence to hospital standards and evaluate the economic implications of LFA (<1 L/min).
Materials And Methods: This retrospective audit focused on 700 adult patients undergoing elective surgeries with general anesthesia.
Background: A new classification for Periodontal and Peri-implant Diseases and Conditions was introduced in the 2017 World Workshop. In the past the 1999 Armitage Classification was commonly used in practice. This study aimed to assess the ease and practicability of retroactively diagnosing a subset of patients formerly diagnosed using the 1999 AAP/CDC classification with the 2017 AAP/EFP disease classification.

This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to examine whether such an association exists and, if so, to determine its strength. Reviewers performed an extensive search of the literature, last accessed in June 2022 in PubMed/Medline, Embase, and Cochrane databases using MeSH terms.
