Purpose: The purpose of the study was to determine the fluoride (F) and silver (Ag) ions levels in the saliva and urine of healthy children after silver diamine fluoride (SDF) application on dental carious lesions.

Unlabelled: Currently, there is no consensus on estimating the malignant potential of Carotid Body Tumor (CBT) and the only way to predict a metastatic CBT is through DOTANOC Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scan. There is a well-established correlation between CBT and superoxide anions inside tumor cells. The purpose of this pilot study was to measure superoxide anions inside CBT cells and find if these can be used as marker to predict malignant potential of CBT.
