Moderate-High Disease Activity in Patients with Recent-Onset Psoriatic Arthritis-Multivariable Prediction Model Based on Machine Learning.

The aim was to identify patient- and disease-related characteristics predicting moderate-to-high disease activity in recent-onset psoriatic arthritis (PsA). We performed a multicenter observational prospective study (2-year follow-up, regular annual visits) in patients aged ≥18 years who fulfilled the CASPAR criteria and had less than 2 years since the onset of symptoms. The moderate-to-high activity of PsA was defined as DAPSA > 14.

Association of serum anti-centromere protein F antibodies with clinical response to infliximab in patients with rheumatoid arthritis: A prospective study.

Background: One-third of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients demonstrate no clinical improvement after receiving tumor necrosis factor inhibitors (TNFi). The presence of serum autoantibodies is a hallmark in RA and may provide information on future response to treatment. The aim of this prospective study was to search for novel serum autoantibodies useful to predict clinical response to TNFi.

The Impact of Comorbidity on Patient-Reported Outcomes in Psoriatic Arthritis: A Systematic Literature Review.

Introduction: A systematic literature review was conducted with the aim to analyse the impact of comorbidity on patient-reported outcomes (PROs) in patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA).

Methods: A sensitive search strategy of the Medline, Embase and the Cochrane Library (up to March 2019) was applied to retrieve studies for inclusion in this systematic literature review. Abstracts of the ACR and EULAR scientific meetings were also searched.

Detection of serrated lesions in proximal colon by simulated sigmoidoscopy vs faecal immunochemical testing in a multicentre, pragmatic, randomised controlled trial.

Background: The diagnostic yield of the faecal immunochemical test and sigmoidoscopy in detecting proximal serrated polyps in a colorectal cancer screening programme has not been fully assessed.

Aim: We determined the detection rate of proximal serrated polyps by simulated sigmoidoscopy and faecal immunochemical test compared with total colonoscopy in a population-based, multicentre, nationwide, randomised controlled trial (ColonPrev study).

Methods: Sigmoidoscopy yield was simulated based on the UK-Flexible Sigmoidoscopy Trial for total colonoscopy referral.
