A 76-year-old patient with non-ST elevation myocardial infarction was admitted to our hospital. Coronary angiography revealed significant left main and two-vessel coronary artery disease. Preoperative testing indicated severe left ventricular dysfunction.

Conventional surgical repair using cardiopulmonary bypass is invasive and associated with morbidities and prolonged hospital stay. With the advent of interventional approaches and availability of different occluding devices, the technique of perventricular device closure is evolving and being implemented successfully in larger groups of patients.

While colonoscopy is an effective screening technique, navigating an endoscope through the colon to detect polyps is challenging.
