PD is one of the neurodegenerative illnesses affects 1-2 individuals per 1000 people over the age of 60 and has a 1 % prevalence rate. It affects both the non-motor and motor aspects of movement, including initiation, execution, and planning. Prior to behavioral and cognitive abnormalities like dementia, movement-related symptoms including stiffness, tremor, and initiation issues may be observed.

We propose digital nets conformational sampling (DNCS) - an enhanced sampling technique to explore the conformational ensembles of peptides, especially intrinsically disordered peptides (IDPs). The DNCS algorithm relies on generating history-dependent samples of dihedral variables using bitwise XOR operations and binary angle measurements (BAM). The algorithm was initially studied using met-enkephalin, a highly elusive neuropeptide.

We present a new strategy for the dearomatized hydroxylation of 5-aminopyrazoles using a hypervalent iodine reagent at room temperature. This method produces a series of 4-hydroxy-5-iminopyrazolines with good to excellent yields within 2 hours. Additionally, we demonstrate a domino reaction for the synthesis of 4-hydroxy-pyrazolones.

We examine the aggregation behavior of AuNPs of different sizes on graphene as function of temperature using molecular dynamic simulations with Reax Force Field. In addition, the consequences of such aggregation on the morphology of AuNPs and the charge transfer behavior of AuNP-Graphene hybrid structure are analyzed. The aggregation of AuNPs on graphene is confirmed from the center of mass distance calculation.

Unlabelled: The continuing threat of COVID-19 and deaths need an urgent cost-effective pharmacological approach. Here, we examine the inhibitory activity of a group of dietary bioactive flavonoids against the human protease TMPRSS2, which plays a major role in SARS CoV-2 viral entry. After the molecular docking studies of a large number of flavonoids, four compounds with high binding scores were selected and studied in detail.
