In this study, we have aimed to analyze the phytochemical composition of this plant and the concentration of strychnine and brucine. The identification of bioactive compounds was done by GC-MS with NIST Library. Strychnine and Brucine were quantified using HPLC.

ZSTK474, a promising novel anticancer molecule derived from s-triazine, found to have antitumor activities against different cancer cell lines. However, neither LCMS method nor pharmacokinetics of ZSTK474 has been reported till now. A sensitive, simple, short and specific liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LCMS/MS) method was developed for the quantification of ZSTK474 in mouse plasma accordance with the US Food and Drug Administration guidelines.

Rare earth ion Dy-doped tellurite glasses were synthesised in the system of (75-x)TeO-15SbO-10WO-xDyO (TSWD glasses). XRD and FTIR characterizations were used to find the crystalline and structural properties. The intensities of the electronic transitions and the ligand environment around the Dy ion were determined using the Judd-Ofelt (J-O) theory on the absorption spectra of the glasses.

In this connection, we have synthesized and characterized micron sized ZnO, N doped micron sized ZnO, nano ZnO, nano Na and La doped ZnO. The intrinsic vacancies in pure ZnO and the vacancies created by N and Na doping in ZnO have been confirmed by X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS) and Photoluminiscence Spectroscopy(PL).
