The model elucidates a significant variance in internet addiction, affirming the complexity of internet addiction as influenced by a constellation of behavioral patterns.

The impact of concept maps on academic achievement: A meta-analysis.

The present study aimed to review master's and doctoral theses, articles and proceedings on the impact of concept maps on academic achievement and published between 2005 and 2017, and to analyze the common effect size with the meta-analysis method. In the study, the effect sizes reported in 78 studies on the effect of concept maps on academic achievement and the overall effect size reported in these studies were analyzed. The Comprehensive Meta-Analysis software was employed in data analysis.

Background: The ubiquitin-proteasome pathway controls the monitoring and degradation of important proteins and is involved in several cellular processes, such as development, differentiation, and transcriptional regulation. Recent evidence has shown that ubiquitin carboxy-terminal hydrolase-L1 (UCH-L1), a member of the deubiquitinating enzyme family that removes ubiquitin from protein substrates, is overexpressed in many types of cancer.

Aim: This study thus examined the expression of UCH-L1 in human astrocytoma tissues.

This study hence aimed to investigate the role of a qualified physician and the moderating influence of health behavior between disease awareness and effective treatment for cervical spondylotic myelopathy.

Searches for "coccydynia, coccyx trauma, coccyx fracture" were carried out in the 3 most used search engines in the USA: Google, Yahoo, and Bing in February 2022. A total of 141 websites were rated by 2 different neurosurgeons for the "Global Quality Score" and "Alexa Popularity Rank.

Emotional state analysis entails many fields such as neuroscience, cognitive sciences, and biomedical engineering because the parameters of interest contain the complex neuronal activities of the brain. Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals are processed to communicate brain signals with external systems and make predictions over emotional states.

Neuroprotective Effects of Tocilizumab on Experimentally-Induced Spinal Cord Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury.

Objectives: We aimed to evaluate neuroprotective effects of tocilizumab on spinal cord ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury. Our study design was an experimental rabbit spinal cord I/R injury model, and the setting was at the Animal Research Laboratory, Necmettin Erbakan University, Meram School of Medicine, Konya, Turkey.

Methods: Twenty-four adult New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into 3 groups: Group 1, control group (n = 8); Group 2, I/R group, and Group 3 (n = 8) I/R injury + tocilizumab (4 mg/kg, ip) treatment group.

We examined trends in body mass index (BMI), parental smoking and blood pressure over a 15-year period in Turkish children aged 15-17 years. Two cross-sectional studies were performed in secondary schools in Turkey in 1989-1990 and 2004-2005.

Effects of TVE application during 70% hepatectomy on regeneration capacity of rats.

Background: For adequate control of excess bleeding during liver resection, total vascular exclusion (TVE) is preferred by surgeons, especially when the tumor is located in the posterior liver lobes or near the cava. To the authors' knowledge, the effects of TVE technique on the postoperative liver regeneration process have not thus far been evaluated yet in the literature. This study was planned to compare the effects of liver resections performed either with portal pedicle clamping or with TVE on the regeneration process.
