Our understanding of ocean-cloud interactions and their effect on climate lacks insight into a key pathway: do biogenic marine emissions form new particles in the open ocean atmosphere? Using measurements collected in ship-borne air-sea interface tanks deployed in the Southwestern Pacific Ocean, we identified new particle formation (NPF) during nighttime that was related to plankton community composition. We show that nitrate ions are the only species for which abundance could support NPF rates in our semicontrolled experiments. Nitrate ions also prevailed in the natural pristine marine atmosphere and were elevated under higher sub-10 nm particle concentrations.

Purpose: This study aims to develop a high-efficiency and high-resolution 3D imaging approach for simultaneous mapping of multiple key tissue parameters for routine brain imaging, including T , T , proton density (PD), ADC, and fractional anisotropy (FA). Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a chronic parenchymal lung disease characterized by repetitive alveolar cell injury, myofibroblast proliferation, and excessive extracellular matrix deposition for which unmet need persists for effective therapeutics. The bioactive eicosanoid, prostaglandin F2α, and its cognate receptor FPr (Ptgfr) are implicated as a TGF-β1-independent signaling hub for IPF. Objectives To describe the different issues surrounding the integration of peer support workers (PSW) and family peer support workers (FPSW) into early intervention for psychosis services (EIS): their roles, the impacts of these interventions for patients, their families, and treatment teams, as well as the challenges and facilitators of this process. Method This article, co-authored with PSW and FPSW, presents a description and discussion of the experience of implementing peer support and family peer support in EIS in Québec, supported by a perspective of a review of the scientific and grey literature published in French or English in the last twenty years. Results Eight of the 36 scientific articles and two of the 14 grey literature publications selected were specific to early intervention for psychosis; the remainder were on mental health intervention.

Adeno-associated virus (AAV) continues to be the gold standard vector for therapeutic gene delivery and has proven especially useful for treating ocular disease. Intravitreal injection (IVtI) is a promising delivery route because it increases accessibility of gene therapies to larger patient populations. However, data from clinical and non-human primate (NHP) studies utilizing currently available capsids indicate that anatomical barriers to AAV and pre-existing neutralizing antibodies can restrict gene expression to levels that are "sub-therapeutic" in a substantial proportion of patients.
