Background: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic presented a new challenge in modern medicine: the development of vaccines was followed by massive population vaccinations. A few reports on post-vaccination allergic reactions have made patients and medical personnel uneasy as to COVID-19 vaccines' allergic potential. Most of the studies in this area to date have been small, and some that were based on global databases skipped most of the allergic diseases and concentrated only on anaphylaxis.

However, the influence of environmental pollution on the young population is controversial. Accordingly, we aimed to investigate the relationships between long-term exposures to different environmental factors and major cardiovascular and inflammatory parameters and biomarkers in young, healthy subjects.

In recent years, there has been considerable interest in the Mas-Related G Protein-Coupled Receptor X2 (MRGPRX2), which is present on the surface of MCs and can be targeted by multiple exogenous and endogenous ligands. It is potentially implicated in non-IgE-mediated pseudoallergic reactions and inflammatory conditions such as asthma or atopic dermatitis.

They are of great practical importance due to their common use, but the data on the follow-up of patients after negative DPT are still very scarce. We examined the further fate of 164 such adult patients after negative NSAID or paracetamol tests and analyzed which excipients in the studied drugs they could be exposed to after the diagnostic workup.

Our aim was to estimate the possibility of exposure to CO and the awareness of intoxication in the population of students living in Kraków, one of the largest academic cities in Poland. M e t h o d s: Anonymous questionnaires about CO poisoning were distributed among medical and non-medical students living in Kraków.

The objectives of the study were to identify modifiable risk factors for severe hepatotoxicity following paracetamol overdose in adults. : A retrospective cohort study involved the consecutive adult patients hospitalized in a toxicological center over a period of seven years due to paracetamol overdose.

The absolute and relative bioavailability of DAI suspended (20 mg/kg i.v.

Methods: The study group consisted of 93 subjects (47 males and 46 females) with primary hypertension.
A cationic derivative of γ-cyclodextrin (GCD) modified with propylenediamine (PDA) was synthesized. It was shown that the derivative (GCD-PDA) is mucoadhesive and resistant to the digestion with ∝-amylase indicating that it may constitute an efficient oral delivery vehicle. GCD-PDA formed an inclusion complex with berberine (BBR), an alkaloid displaying a multitude of beneficial physiological effects.

Hypersensitivity reactions to this drug involve a wide range of symptoms of various importance for patient management. The EudraVigilance (EV) database serves as a system for monitoring adverse events (AE) due to drug intake.
