Purpose: Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) is associated with high morbidity and mortality. Abdominal radiography is currently an imaging modality of choice in NEC. Recently, a numeric scale of radiological signs in NEC-The Duke Abdominal Assessment (DAAS) was introduced.
