- - The study aimed to analyze the characteristics of thyroid carcinoma in Dalmatia and compare its incidence with that of the entire Croatia, using data from 651 patients between 1997 and 2006.
- - Results indicated that Dalmatia had a higher incidence rate of thyroid cancer (9.32 per 100,000) compared to the national average (8.1 per 100,000), with a noticeable increase in cases over the studied years and a predominance of the disease in women (81.4% of patients).
