[Purification and properties of leucyl-tRNA synthetase from the cow mammary gland].

Three forms (E1, E2 and E3) of leucyl-tRNA synthetase (LeuRS) were separated by DEAE-cellulose chromatography of total aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases from cow lactating mammary gland. The method of purification of all three components is described. E1 is a dimeric molecule (alpha 2) of molecular weight 182 000.

[Morphology of the Fahr syndrome (idiopathic calcification of the cerebral vessels)].

Two observations of the Far syndrome manifested by calcification of the brain tissue, oligodendroglia, arterial walls, arterioles, capillaries and veins are described. Possible applications of magnetic relaxation to the studies of microstructures of water-protein layer of spin-labelled proteins and enzymes are analyzed on lyzozymes taken as an example. [Adrenergic and cholinergic structures of guinea pig lungs under normal conditions and in experimental bronchial asthma].

Fluorescent and histochemical methods were applied to the study of the morpho-functional condition of the adrenergic and cholinergic nervous system of the bronchopumonary apparatus in guinea pigs under normal conditions and during sensitization (subcutaneous and inhalant) with tick Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus ticks. There was revealed a marked excitation of the adrenergic nervous system, and a reduction of the acetylcholine esterase activity in the bronchopulmonary tissue during the animal sensitization.

[Clinico-electromyographic characteristics of piriform muscle syndromes].
