Fullerol C(OH) nanoparticles (FNP)-wheat- interaction outcome is more complicated in the presence of drought. This study sheds light on how the presence of FNP affects food and feed safety from the perspective of mycotoxin contamination. The study aims to determine the influence of FNP at environmentally plausible concentrations on wheat growth under drought stress and on the aggressiveness of during wheat germination, as well as the influence of FNP on the secondary metabolite profile during the inappropriate wheat storage.

The contamination is even more intense due to climate changes and different stressors. This study examined the impact of fullerol C(OH) nanoparticles (FNP) (at 0, 1, 10, 100, and 1000 ng mL) on the secondary metabolite profile of the most relevant foodborne mycotoxigenic fungi from genera , , and during growth in vitro.

The FNP solution (10, 100 and 1000 ng mL) contained predominantly nanoparticles of 8 nm diameter and with zeta potential mean value of -33 mV.

The enormous progress in nanomaterials development and their use, followed by their inevitable environmental print, has arisen the emerging questions concerning their influence to the living systems. Honey bees are considered to be quite a suitable model system for the risk assessment and prediction of various external influences. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study dealing with the influence of fullerenol nanoparticles (FNP), a biodegradable carbon nanomaterials' representative, to honey bees.

The aim of the present study was to examine the protective effect of PYC on acetaminophen-induced acute liver injury in rats. The effect of PYC on acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity in rats was examined by determining biochemical parameters, in vitro antioxidant activity, histological assessment, and oxidative status in liver homogenates.

In order to clarify the extent of interaction, the impact of FNP (10, 100 and 1000 ng mL) on aflatoxin production and the available precursors of biosynthesis pathway from Aspergillus flavus NRRL 3251 was determined, in both the mycelia and yeast extract sucrose (YES) medium, during a 168-hour growth period at 29 °C in the dark. The FNP of 8 nm in diameter, and with a zeta potential of -33 mV affected mycelial growth at 1000 ng mL while conidia production was slightly affected at 10 ng mL.

This research has demonstrated that this novel nanocomposite has had better implications on the liver tissue in vivo (Wistar rats treated intraperitoneally), than treatment based only on DOX. FNP/DOX has been characterised by DLS, TEM and AFM measurements which have shown that DOX loaded onto FNP did not influence fullerenol nanoparticle's size.

Yet, the potential risks for living organisms are largely unknown, including the interaction of C with fungal organisms. This may be especially relevant for mycotoxigenic fungi since C may both scavenge and produce reactive oxygen species (ROS), and oxidative stress induces mycotoxin production in fungi.

Characterization of THF-nC, FNP, TiO, TiO/THF-nC, and TiO/FNP was studied by using DES, ELS, TEM, SEM, DRS and BET measurements and their photoactivity has been examined on the mesotrione degradation under simulated sunlight. It was found that FNP in self-assembled nanocomposite TiO/FNP increased negatively charge, as well as catalytic surface of TiO.

Objectives: The aim of this review is to discuss cannabinoids from a preclinical and clinical oncological perspective and provide the audience with a concise, retrospective overview of the most significant findings concerning the potential use of cannabinoids in cancer treatment.
Methods: A literature survey of medical and scientific databases was conducted with a focus on the biological and medical potential of cannabinoids in cancer treatment.
Results: Cannabis sativa is a plant rich in more than 100 types of cannabinoids.
Increased use of fullerols in various fields and expected increase of their environmental spread impose the necessity for testing fullerol nanoparticles (FNP) effects on microbiota. There is little information available on the interaction of mycotoxigenic fungi and FNP, despite FNP having a great potential of modifying mycotoxin production. Namely, FNP exhibit both ROS-quenching and ROS-producing properties, while oxidative stress stimulates mycotoxin synthesis in the fungi.

In this work structuring of water and insight into intermolecular interactions between water and fullerenol are studied throughout the process of forming nanoagglomerates at different temperatures applying both experimental and computational approaches. The obtained fullerenol nanoparticles (FNPs) are firstly characterized using dynamic light scattering, atomic force microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The density, electrical conductivity and dynamic viscosity of aqueous fullerenol solutions are measured in the temperature range of 293.

We propose that fullerenol nanoparticles (FNPs, molecular formula C60(OH)24) may help alleviate drought stress by serving as an additional intercellular water supply. Specifically, FNPs are able to penetrate plant leaf and root tissues, where they bind water in various cell compartments.
