The impact of accidents during the transport of dangerous good, on people, the environment, and infrastructure and measures for their reduction: a review.

Road transport is one of the most dangerous methods of goods transport. Driver errors and poor traffic conditions can cause traffic accidents, which can have a negative impact on people's health, the environment, and infrastructure. The main influence on the level of the consequences is the chemical composition and amount of the transported substance.

The influence of the brake pad construction on noise formation, people's health and reduction measures.

The brake system is one of the most important systems on the vehicle, especially from the aspect of traffic safety. The use of the braking system comes with many undesirable effects, such as brake wear and noise emission. The noise that originates from brakes is related to the wear of brake elements, the applied materials for manufacture, to the elements which are connected to each other, and all of this represents a very challengeable problem in the automotive industry.

Particle formation due to brake wear, influence on the people health and measures for their reduction: a review.

For achieving the desired vehicle speed, the IC engine is very important, while for further vehicle speed maintaining and adaptation to road conditions, the braking system is important. With each brake's activation, wear products are forming, which are very harmful to the environment, because they can contain heavy metals. The braking working parameters (initial speed and braking pressure) are beside the achieved temperature in contact par, the most responsible, for particle formation and their release into the air.

Anthropological analysis of the Second World War skeletal remains from three karst sinkholes located in southern Croatia.

Although in the cases of war crimes the main effort goes to the identification of victims, it is crucial to consider the execution event as a whole. Thus, the goal of the research was to determine the trauma type and probable cause of death on skeletal remains of civilians executed by partisans from WWS found in the three karst sinkholes and to explain the context in which the injuries occurred. We determined biological profiles, pathological conditions, traumas, and assessed their lethality.
