[The depression of the reproduction of the human immunodeficiency virus by the use of Bogomolets antireticular cytotoxic serum].

The action of the Bogomolets' antireticular cytotoxic serum (ACS) as a HIV-1 reproduction inhibitor was studied on the model of human lymphoblastoid cell line MT-4/BRU (acute infection). The HIV-1 reproduction inhibition was estimated according to cell protection level for virus cytopathic action and p24 antigen level in the cultural media. The both tests data on ACS usage in dilutions 1:160-1:640 prove that the virus inhibition effect which may be compared with anti-HIV action of the well-known agent, azidothymidine, was observed.

[Experience in treating atopic dermatitis in children with vilozen].

The authors present data on the treatment of 150 children with atopic dermatitis. The patients were examined by related specialists. After complex immunological examination the patients received intranasally vilozen for two weeks.

[Role of ceruloplasmin in the resistance of the organism to x-irradiation].

It was shown that a single administration of homogeneous and heterogeneous ceruloplasmin in different doses 1 h before or after irradiation ( LD40 and LD100) increased the survival rate of rats. Ceruloplasmin improved some indices of peripheral blood and bone marrow at early stages of radiation affection. A higher ceruloplasmin activity was observed in blood serum of irradiated animals.

[Effect of ceruloplasmin on the growth of experimental tumors and proliferative activity of cells].

Exogenous ceruloplasmin influence on experimental tumour growth and intensity of normal and malignant cell proliferation in tissue culture was investigated. It was found that ceruloplasmin administration to animals with transplanted tumours caused a 25-50% inhibition of tumour growth. A growth inhibiting activity of ceruloplasmin observed in tissue culture at the concentration of 5 mg/ml was established.

[Method for obtaining muscle adenosine monophosphoric acid].

A method is developed for obtaining 5'-AMP with utilization of the partially purified potato apyrase. In this case the extract of muscles or the medical preparation of ATP not corresponding to the standard requirements may be initial product instead of the purified ATP.
