The results of aortocoronary shunting (ACSh) were studied in 243 patients after myocardial infarction at different stages of rehabilitation--in rehabilitative hospital and military sanatorium. Result assessment at the final stage of therapy in sanatorium confirmed ACSh efficiency in overwhelming majority of patients. At the same time principal peculiarities were revealed showing the necessity of differential approach to determination of volume and place for conduction of restorative therapy.

In a large number of patients aortocoronary shunting often leads to persistent neurotic disorders' development. Taking into account the biological, psychological and social factors contributing to the disease pathogenesis, the authors tend to introduce some methods of active involvement of patients into a rehabilitation-prophylactic process to restore their mental health balance, behavioral standards, communicative habits etc.

Were studied psychovegetative and somatic correlations in 115 patients with ischemic heart disease, having aortocoronary shunting operation and being at the sanatorium stage of the medical rehabilitation. To 70 patients was been carried out treatment with application of autogenous training (AT), to 45--without use of AT. The research has confirmed the presence in the patients psychological disadaptation, expressed essentially in asthenoneurotic and hypochondriac reactions.

Autotransfusion of blood exposed to UV irradiation proved highly effective in multimodality rehabilitation treatment of coronary patients with the disease functional classes II and III. Short-term and long-term results indicate a positive effect on hyperlipoproteinemia, hyperglycosuria, hemodynamics, exercise tolerance. The method is recommended for use in sanatoria and outpatient clinics.
