[Extraction of flutamide from aqueous solutions].

The objective of the present study was to elucidate peculiarities of flutamide extraction from aqueous solutions using he liquid-liquid extraction technique and spectrophotometry in the visible spectrum. The results of flutamide extraction were shown to depend on the chemical nature of the extractant, pH of the aqueous phase as well as its saturation with water and electrolytes. The study has demonstrated that the optimal conditions for flutamide extraction by ethylacetate are created by using the aqueous phase with the pH values in the range from 1.

[Optimization of initial dental caries diagnostics and treatment in patients infected with herpes virus].

The article presents the results of examination and treatment of patients with initial caries (K02.0), infected with herpes virus. Technologies and methods used by most dentists are not sensitive enough to detect caries at early stages, while the remineralizing therapy can be very effective.

In this connection, there is a need for activating the interaction of medics and psychologists in the structure of a medicopedagogical stage of prophylactic medical examinations and for introducing stress-limiting exposures into the educational establishments.

[Concentration of hydrochloric acid and pepsin in gastric juice in dogs after starvation and refeeding].

Feeding fogs with meat after a 3-day period of starvation increased hydrochloric acid concentration with subsequent return of the parameter to normal values. Under the same conditions, pepsin concentration decreased and raised up after re-feeding. Histamine administration following the starvation decreased hydrochloric acid concentration with subsequent normalising.

[Gastric secretion in dogs following three day fasting and resumed feeding].

The investigation into the influence of a three-day starvation on the gastric secretion in dogs with Pavlov pouches stimulated by meat, histamine and pentagastrin, was carried out. A 72-hour starvation did not change the summary volume of the gastric juice, debit of the gastric acid, and quantity of pepsin. At the same time the starvation decreased the average rate of gastric juice secretion, gastric acid and pepsin secretion in response to histamine and decreased the pepsin secretion in response to pentagastrin.
