Rats were treated with a single intravenous injection of thorotrast (thorium dioxide)--the source of alpha-rays. Dynamic investigation of urine protens of rats by methods of electrophoresis and immunoelectrophoresis was carried out during 22 months after thorotrast injection. Already the month after drug injection the selectivity of tubular reabsorbtion was disturbed.

It was shown, that under physiological conditions, intact noninbred mice or high-inbred mice-testers in reaction of preference-avoidance prefer volatile components secreted by mice of a genetically identical group. After exposure to stress factors, mice release with urine the volatile components, which are more preferable by testers than the volatile secretion of intact mice indepedently of the genotype of mice.

It is shown that intact animals caged with stressed animals or in smell contact with natural secretions of stressed animals develop alterations of the immune system and peripheral blood cell composition. The decline in the genesis of antibodies to T-dependent antigen is related to the animals' gender and occurs at the height of poststress immunodepression.

The cortical thymocytes of rats in whole organism, isolated lobes of thymus and cells suspension were exposed to ionizing radiation in a wide range of doses (0.1-200 cGy). In contrast to relatively high dose radiation (50-200 cGy), exposure to doses of 10 cGy resulted in cell death without DNA degradation.

Rats and mice subjected to stress and/or irradiation or their urine induce impairment or the indices of immunologic reactivity in caged together their intact mates. It is suggested that communicative behavior, including olfactory-odor components, affect the state of blood and immunity systems.

It was showed that the daily transfer of natural secrets litter from irradiated mice to intact mice decreased parameters of intact mice immune reactivity in 14 days. Presumedly this effect, conditioned of pathological odours, discovered on one from mechanism of contact induction second immunodeficient, also caged intact with irradiated animals.

Under the influence of the combined action of gamma irradiation (1 Gy, 1,15 Gy/min) and benzene the synergistic reduction of proportion and absolute content of B-cells and less expressed reduction of absolute content T-cells in spleen and lymph nodes was observed. In spleen the thymus-dependent humoral immune response was resistant to combined effect of irradiation and benzene, while in lymph nodes it was highly sensitive. The profound suppression of antibody formation in lymph nodes was characterized by synergism.

In cells of ascites Zajdela hepatoma in different terms after irradiation of the abdominal region in tumor-bearing rats (doses of 500, 700 and 1000 rad) there were found a reduction of highly active and an increase of insignificantly active normal isoenzymes of lactate dehydrogenase and also disorders in the content of acid phosphatase.
