A new diagnostic method for estimation of functional state of optic nerves with vasoactive drug corinfar is described in the article. 25 patients with simple optical nerve atrophy related to lesions of chiasmal area were examined. The conclusion was made that use of corinfar in atrophy of nervus opticus allows to assess more accurately functional state of the organ and prognosticate recovery of vision in postoperative period.

Of 36 patients with clinical disorders of the venous cerebral circulation (hypertensive type evaluated rheoencephalographically) after closed head injuries 24 patients showed a recovery or significant improvement, 10--an improvement and 2--remained unchanged.

Disorders of the cerebral circulation are mainly manifested in hypoperfusion of the cerebral blood vessels. Hypoperfusion of the brain tissue may be one of the hemodynamic indications to the operation of extra- and intracranial microanastomosis.
