[Clinical evaluation of some pancreonecrotic syndromes].

The author analysed 384 cases of pancreonecrosis with clinico-morphological verification of the diagnosis in the first 3-4 days of the disease. The clinical manifestations of four most demonstrative syndromes were compared with the peculiarities of the morphological components of pancreonecrosis. Arguments are presented in favor of the assumption that analysis of the clinical pictures allows not only the presumptive diagnosis of destructive pancreatitis to be made in the first days of the disease, but also to prognosticate the clinical course of the disease.

[Clinico-morphological signs of different forms of destructive pancreatitis].

Clinicomorphological comparisons in 434 cases of destructive pancreatitis showed that macroscopic signs of destruction develop in the first 12 hours from the onset of the attack. The elaborated criteria make it possible to evaluate the main morphological components of destructive pancreatitis--pancreonecrosis proper, parapancreatitis, peritonitis, and "polyvisceritis" and to use therapeutic measures on an individual basis.

[Complex treatment of pancreatic necrosis].

The experience in the treatment of 1800 patients with acute pancreatitis is described. Destructive forms were found in 36% of cases during the last five years. The main methods of treatment and the mortality rate following the methods used are analyzed.
