[Opiates do not guarantee an adequate analgesia after large-volume open operations on the abdominal cavity organs].

Efficacy of systemic application of opiates (promedol) for the pain relief after big open abdominal operations, using visual-analogue scale (VAS), was estimated in 50 patients. During 36-48 h postoperatively analgesia was inadequate (VAS in a rest state more than 3 points and while movement--more than 4 points). Intensive pain (VAS 6 points and more) was noted in 58% of patients, while they are moving, and in 26%--in a rest state.

[The balanced perioperative analgesia using movalis after open cholecystectomy performance].

Movalis, included in complex of perioperative anesthesy, efficacy was studied in 30 patients after elective cholecystectomy. Complex assessment of analgetic action of the preparation, taking into account the influence of nociceptive processes, basing on investigation of electric cutaneous threshold in various regimens of stimulation in the dermatome incision, was conducted. It was established that under the influence of Movalis the spontaneous and induced pain intensity is lowering due to its action on the processes of primary and secondary hyperalgesia.

[Preparation no-shpa forte for the treatment of renal colic].

In 24 patients there was studied up the preparation Nospa-forte efficacy in renal colic occurrence due to presence of calculus in ureter, basing on analysis of the pain syndrome dynamic, the heart rhythm changes, the central and systemic hemodynamics indexes, renal function and urinanalysis. There was established efficacy of the preparation in the pain syndrome removal, the blood circulation hyperdynamics reduction, the vegetative nervous system state optimization and the heart rhythm stabilization. It is expedient to use Nospa-forte in the treatment of various visceral pain.
