[Profile of proinflammatory cytokines in type 1 diabetes mellitus].

The study involved 70 patients with type 1 diabetes who were under medical care in the clinical city hospital. Patients were divided into two groups: group I included patients with severe form of diabetes with complications and group II included patients without complications. The cytokine profile in the diabetes mellitus patients was investigated.
