Autohemotransfusion is one of the perspective methods of transfusion used in cardiosurgery. Intraoperative autohemotransfusion was used in surgical correction of congenital heart diseases in patients of various age groups, including children aged 6 to 8. The exfusion volume made up 300-600 ml, depending on the patient's body mass and the hematologic parameters.

Frozen washed erythrocytes and erythromass were successively used in the perfusate and postoperatively. A transfusion pattern for patients with rare A2B blood group has been elaborated.
