Introduction: Treatments based on cell biology need reliable and precise carriers for reaching the desired targets. For that reason, a PDO-based cell carrier was idealized, with the purpose of carrying stem cells to distant sites at room temperature.
Materials And Methods: Three modalities of the same carrier were evaluated: one containing undifferentiated human dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs); one loaded with stem cells induced to neurogenic differentiation (DPSCNs); and one without cells (Blank).
Background Aims: Surgical treatment for enterocutaneous fistulas (EF) frequently fails. Cell therapy may represent a new approach to treatment. Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) have high proliferative and differentiation capacity.

This study aimed to establish a versatile experimental model with potential application to distinct lines of research in plastic surgery. The search was guided by the need for mesenchymal stem cells that can be easily obtained for laboratory research.

Background: Performing a face-lift for smokers, bald people, and those looking for a quick recovery is always a challenge. The submucosal aponeurotic system (SMAS) plication technique with limited undermining provides great suspension and has proved to be a safe and fast way to perform a face-lift surgery.
Methods: The procedure is a suspension technique for face-lifting based on a purse-string suture around the ear that allows all the soft tissues of the face and neck to be elevated and anchored in the strong structures of the cranial muscles and aponeurosis.
