Research focusing on assessing the knowledge, awareness, and practices (KAP) regarding safety and emergency response among scuba divers has been limited, and there is a need for validated assessment tools in this area.
Methods: This study involved 555 scuba divers in Malaysia, and the questionnaire underwent a thorough development and validation process, including content and face validity assessments, as well as exploratory factor analysis.
Purpose: Post infective hydrocephalus (PIH) is a type of hydrocephalus which occurs after an infection of the brain or cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Treatment of PIH requires temporary measures such as external ventricular drain (EVD) and ventriculosubgaleal shunt (VSGS) until CSF becomes clear and ready to implement VP shunt. Limited research has been done to explore the tradeoff between these approaches particularly in pediatric PIH patients.

The IDL mechanism flattens and stabilizes the multiwavelength spectrum. We also investigate the effect of rotation angles of polarization controllers (PCs) at different polarization devices on multiwavelength performance.

The incorporation of functional materials with exceptional structural and physico-chemical properties offers opportunities for the membranes preparation with enhanced permselectivity and better antifouling properties. The present study aims to improve the EDC removal efficiency of TFC RO membrane using two-dimensional titania nanosheets (TNS).

Objective: To assess nurses' knowledge and use of sucrose in Neonatal Intensive Care Units in Saudi Arabia.
Introduction: Currently available data regarding the impact of liver transplantation on the outcomes of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 is conflicting. This study aims to compare the outcomes and resource utilization between patients with and without a history of liver transplant hospitalized with COVID-19.
Methods And Materials: This is a retrospective study using the National Inpatient Sample.
Protein engineering can be used to tailor enzymes for medical purposes, including antibody-directed enzyme prodrug therapy (ADEPT), which can act as a tumor-targeted alternative to conventional chemotherapy for cancer. In ADEPT, the antibody serves as a vector, delivering a drug-activating enzyme selectively to the tumor site. Glutathione transferases (GSTs) are a family of naturally occurring detoxication enzymes, and the finding that some of them are overexpressed in tumors has been exploited to develop GST-activated prodrugs.

Conditionally replicative adenoviruses (CRAds) armed with immune checkpoint inhibitors hold great potential for enhanced therapeutic efficacy. The present study aims to investigate the anti-tumor efficacy of CAV2-AU-M2, a CAV2-based CRAd armed with an anti-PD-1 single-domain antibody (sdAb), against OS cell lines .

However, when a vdW heterojunction is made through an ex-situ assembly, electron transmission faces notable obstacles at the components interface due to the substantial spacing and potential barrier. Herein, we present a novel strategy to address this challenge via wet chemistry by synthesizing a functionalized graphene-modulated Z-scheme vdW heterojunction of zinc phthalocyanine/tungsten trioxide (xZnPc/yG-WO).

This involved reaction of arylidenemalononitrile thru propanedinitrile in the occurrence of sodium alkoxide under MW. While, their positional isomer 4-amino-6-alkoxy-2-arylpyridine-3,5-dicyanide 3a-j have been separated from the reaction of aryl aldehydes with 2-aminoprop-1-ene-1,1,3-tricarbonitrile 2 in the presence of sodium alkoxide using microwave technic.

Results: Using RNA sequencing data from 107 pairs of pre- and post-standard treatment locally recurrent IDHwt GBM tumors, we identify two responder subtypes based on longitudinal changes in gene expression.
Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most widespread type of primary liver cancer. Diethylnitrosamine (DEN), a hepatotoxic hepatocarcinogenic compound, is used to induce HCC in animal models. The non-selective β-blocker propranolol demonstrated antiproliferative activity in many cancer types.
