Objective: In this study, the effect of tocilizumab (TCZ) on lung tissue in lung ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury in rats was investigated.
Material And Methods: A total of 24 Wistar rats were divided into 4 equal groups, with 6 rats in each group: Left lung I/R was applied to I/R groups. In the I/R groups, the left lung hilum was clamped for 45 minutes, and then the clamp was removed and reperfused for 120 minutes.
Alfalfa ( L.) is a vital source of forage protein for ruminants, yet its ensiling poses challenges due to high buffering capacity and low water-soluble carbohydrates (WSC). This study investigated the impact of sodium diacetate (SDA) on alfalfa silage quality and aerobic stability.

Background: This study was carried out to compare the levels of inflammatory markers in the complete blood count before and after they began receiving duloxetine in patients with fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS).
Methods: The patient and control groups were composed of 40 patients diagnosed with FMS in accordance with the 2016 American College of Rheumatology (ACR) criteria and 40 healthy volunteers, respectively. The data collection tools comprised the sociodemographic information form, the fibromyalgia impact questionnaire (FIQ), and the sleep hygiene index (SHI), which were used to assess patients' sociodemographic characteristics, FMS disease activity, and sleep quality, respectively.
Objective: In patients with classical congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), virilization affects the brain and external genitalia due to antenatal androgen exposure. There are few studies on how the effects of androgens on brain virilization are reflected in behavior. However, there is no study focused on the adolescence period.

This study was conducted to investigate MSTN polymorphisms in harvest size European sea bass reared in Turkey. Nine single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and two indels were identified in exons 1-3 of MSTN in the European sea bass population The associations between the g.

Methods: This comparative cross-sectional study included 40 patients clinical and histopathologically diagnosed with eczema or psoriasis (20 psoriasis and 20 eczema) and 30 patients of similar age and gender without inflammatory disease in the control group. Serum samples of patients were collected and analyzed for VEGF by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and at the same time, we applied capillaroscopy with computerized dermatoscopy qualitatively and semiquantitatively.
This study investigated the relationships among perceived stress, conflict resolution styles, spousal support and marital satisfaction of heterosexual married couples during the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine. This was a descriptive study that employed a correlational survey model. The sample consisted of 511 Turkish married couples recruited using snowball sampling.

This questionnaire evaluates four problems related to the use of ISC, which are ease of use, convenience, discreetness and psychological well-being.
Methods: A total of 60 SCI (40 males, 20 females) patients were included in the study.
The IGF-I is a significant peptide hormone to cell growth, development, reproduction, and metabolism of teleost fish. Leptin receptor is a fundamental regulator in physiological functions of the regulation of food intake, energy homeostasis, immune function, and reproduction as well as on ovarian follicular cells on the placenta and lactating mammary glands. The aim of this study was to investigate the LEPR gene polymorphism in 60 donkeys reared in Thrace region of Turkey. A 585 bp long partial intron 6, exon 7, intron 7, and exon 8 regions of LEPR gene were amplified, and polymerase chain reaction products analyzed via DNA sequencing.

For this purpose, a total of 108 Saanen goats from two different farms (Bornova and Manisa) were used as animal materials. Polymorphisms at the exon 6 and the 3 flanking region of the gene were determined by using PCR-RFLP with I and I restriction enzymes and DNA sequencing analyses.

A total of 108 donkeys from different regions of Turkey were used in order to reveal the different genotypes of and genes by using polymerase chain reaction - restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) and DNA sequencing methods. To determine the genetic polymorphism, we attempted to digest a fragment of 235 bp of the gene and a fragment of 751 bp of the gene using I, and II, I and I restriction enzymes, respectively.
