Objectives: For patients with glottic insufficiency disease, injection laryngoplasty is a rapid and efficient management option that complements voice therapy. Some studies have indicated that respiratory muscle training may also show promise in patients with voice disorders. Background: Explicit criteria for potentially inappropriate medications (PIMs) developed for other countries are difficult to apply to a specific territory. This study aimed to update the PIM-Taiwan criteria from a qualitative review of several published PIM criteria, followed by consensus among regional experts in Taiwan.

Background: The goal of this study was to evaluate the accuracy and interchangeability between continuous cardiac output (CO) measured by electrical velocimetry (CO) and continuous cardiac output obtained using the pulmonary thermodilution method (CO) during living donor liver transplantation (LDLT).

Method: Twenty-three patients were enrolled in this prospective observational study. CO was recorded by both two methods and compared at nine specific time points.

Neuronal intestinal dysplasia type B is characterized by poor intestinal motility that usually results in constipation. Massive gastrointestinal hemorrhage is very unusual as the initial presentation in this disease entity. We report on a 3-year-and-7-month-old boy who had experienced two episodes of life-threatening lower gastrointestinal hemorrhage and high fever.
