The most effective way to assess hydration status is through the costly stable isotope methodology, but this approach has practical limitations. Purpose: Exploring the ideal marker for early diagnosis and prognosis of sepsis is crucial due to limitations of available sepsis indicators. Hence, we aimed to evaluate the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) as a diagnostic and prognostic marker of sepsis.
Materials And Methods: This prospective case-control study was conducted at a tertiary care teaching public hospital.
Polymeric drug conjugates (PDCs) for cancer therapy have been a hot research topic for the past three decades. Successful examples of PDC conjugates have demonstrated sustained drug release action with decreased systemic toxicity and enhanced tumor retention effect (EPR) via active as well as passive targeting mechanisms. Therefore, the PDC approach has now become a keystone of the drug delivery system for cancer and other diseases.
