Background: Antibiotic resistance is a global health problem related to the transmission of bacteria and genes between humans and animals. The development of new drugs with antimicrobial activity research is an urgent task of modern science.
Aim: The article presents data of and experiments on new pharmaceutical composition based on nisin.
In a study on primates (Macaca mulatta), neurobiological and radiobiological effects have been studied of the synchronous combined action of 7-day antiorthostatic hypokinesia and exposure of the monkeys' head first to γ-rays during 24 h and then to accelerated C ions. The neurobiological effects were evaluated by the cognitive functions which model the basic elements of operator activity and the concentration of monoamines and their metabolites in peripheral blood. The radiobiological effects were evaluated by the chromosomal aberration and DNA double-strand break (DSB) yield in peripheral blood lymphocytes.

Sixty-seven adolescents suffering from duodenal ulcer (DU) were studied for the level of prostaglandins (PG) E and P2 alpha in the gastric juice and blood plasma depending on the condition of the gastric juice hydrochloric acid secretion and phase of the disease. There were no significant differences in PG content in adolescents with hyper- and normal acidity or subacidity. During the stage of aggravation PG level gets significantly increased and remains somewhat elevated during remission.

Signs of neovasculogenesis are demonstrated in the microcirculatory bed of the terminal villi. Possible connection between reduction of the paravasal capillary network, as the intermediate villi become mature, and neovasculogenesis is discussed.
