- * A survey of 138 residents reveals that many see teaching as essential for their career and enjoy it; however, a significant number lack formal training and feedback on their teaching skills.
- * The findings suggest that enhancing residents' roles in teaching can help recruit students into neurology and improve the residents' own learning, prompting calls for established teaching programs and recognition for teaching efforts.
The changes to medical studies that became necessary as part of the Corona pandemic have also forced considerable adjustments in Neurology. Classroom teaching had to be converted almost entirely to digital formats within a short period of time. The present study provides an overview of the respective changes and associated complications as well as opportunities in teaching Neurology.

Not least because of the corona crisis, more and more digital teaching formats and innovative teaching concepts such as the flipped classroom model are finding their way into teaching. We analyzed the acceptance and effectiveness of traditional teaching methods as well as the interest in innovative e‑learning methods among medical students in the field of radiation oncology at the medical school of the Technical University of Munich.
