- The study compares the effectiveness of two serological screening tests, Alinity i rHTLV-I/II and LIAISON® XL murex recHTLV-I/II, against the ARCHITECT rHTLVI/II test for diagnosing HTLV-I and II infections.
- It involved analyzing 119 serum samples from known HTLV-I patients and 184 from uninfected individuals to evaluate the tests' performance.
- Results showed that both Alinity i and LIAISON® tests had total agreement with the ARCHITECT reference test, making them reliable options for HTLV screening.

This study aimed to compare the performance of the DiaSorin™ LiaisonXL automated quantitative antigen test (QAT) and the AAZ™ rapid antigen test (RAT) to the DiaSorin™ MDX RT-PCR assay. A total of 242 nasopharyngeal samples were tested at La Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital (Paris, France).
