[Point-of-care information in GP practices: Results of a survey among German GP specialists and GP trainees].

Background: Specific questions often arise in the context of consultations regarding, for example, diagnostics and therapeutic management. This case-specific search for information is referred to as point-of-care information. In recent years, it has been influenced by an increase in digitalization and by the development of medical expert systems providing information for medical professionals.
