In recent years, the demand for natural and synthetic zeolites has surged due to their distinctive properties and myriad industrial applications. This research aims to synthesise crystalline zeolites by co-recycling two industrial wastes: salt slag (SS) and rice husk ash (RHA). Salt slag, a problematic by-product of secondary aluminium smelting, is classified as hazardous waste due to its reactive and leachable nature, though it is rich in aluminium.

The effects of LEGA microstructure and morphology on both the adherence to the cement paste and the mechanical properties of mortars after 28 days of curing were studied. The properties of lightweight mortars made of either LEGAs or expanded clay aggregates were compared.

Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of the procedure and outcomes during follow-up.
Methods: 80 patients with pulmonary valvular stenosis who underwent percutaneous balloon valvuloplasty between January 2014 and December 2019 are described. Demographic, echocardiographic, and hemodynamic characteristics of the procedure were evaluated.
A new adsorbent based on an immobilized waste-derived LTA zeolite in agarose (AG) has proven to be an innovative and efficient alternative for removing metallic contaminants from water impacted by acid mine drainage (AMD) because the immobilization prevents the solubilization of the zeolite in acidic media and eases its separation from the adsorbed solution. A pilot device was developed containing slices of the sorbent material [AG (1.5%)-LTA (8%)] to be used in a treatment system under an upward continuous flow.

The extraction of natural aggregates results in serious environmental effects. Thus, within the circular economy concept, the valorization of waste through the optimization of materials and product design is encouraged.

The accelerated ageing test comprises fast heating (32 °C min) and cooling rates (27 °C min) from 100 to 1000 °C and dwelling times of 10 min. Porous materials (SiOCN and SiOC) failed the thermal shock tests; they were massively degraded by the formation of a large depression in the focus of solar radiation.

This study investigates the use of a Linde Type-A (LTA) zeolite obtained from a hazardous industrial waste for Al, Fe, and Mn removal from synthetic aqueous solutions. The aim of this study is to stablish a basis for the subsequent treatment of MIW in order to obtain reuse water.

Nevertheless, the general applicability of genetic transformation of this species has not yet been established. Many strategies have been tested in order to obtain an efficient peach transformation system.

Boehmite was obtained by hydrothermal treatment of a hazardous waste coming from aluminum slag milling. The waste is considered as a hazardous substance because of it releasing toxic gases (hydrogen, ammonia, methane, and hydrogen sulfide) in the presence of water.

As a result, all excess Hg must be stored in safe conditions in secure places. This paper is an attempt to review the various treatment technologies types of liquid mercury (Hg(0)) and mercury-containing wastes, which can be used to store these residues in a safe way.

Tested shoots were obtained from seedlings belonging to three Spanish cultivars, 'Arbequina', 'Manzanilla de Sevilla' and 'Gordal Sevillana', which have easy-, medium- and difficult-to-root rooting abilities, respectively. The standard two-step rooting method (SRM), consisting of root induction in olive rooting medium supplemented with 0, 0.

Material And Methods: we collected and analyzed data on fertility, contraceptive practice and prenatal and puerperal care. For this purpose, we made specific files as follows: 5823 adolescents from 15 to 19 years old, 16,275 men from 20 to 59 years old and 16 866 women from 20 to 49 years old, of the total sample of 79,797 questionnaires of ENCOPREVENIMSS 2003.
A methodology for bulk analysis of Al and Ti and for determination of soluble and total Al and Ti concentration in steel samples by laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry was developed. The spatial distribution (both at surface and within the sample) of the insoluble fraction of Al and Ti was also qualitatively estimated. Certified reference materials (CRMs) SS-451 to 460 (carbon steel) and 064-1 (Nb/Ti interstitial free steel), from BAS, and JK 2D (carbon steel) and JK 37 (highly alloyed steel), from SIMR, were studied.
