Three-dimensional (3D) body scanning technology has applications for obtaining anthropometric data in human-centered and product development fields. The reliability of 3D measurements gathered from 3D scans must be assessed to understand the degree to which this technology is appropriate for use in place of manual anthropometric methods. The intra- and inter-rater reliabilities of 3D facial measurements were assessed among four novice raters using 3D landmarking.
