Health care for people with disabilities in a rural setting under the perspective of community agents.

Objective: To understand how health care for people with disabilities in rural settings occurs according to the perspective of Community Health Agents.

Methods: Qualitative approach study in which 13 Community Health Agents participated. Data collection took place through semi-structured interviews.

Gender violence: knowledge and professional conduct of the family health strategy.

Objective: To evaluate the knowledge and behaviors of health professionals of units of the Strategies Family opposite gender violence.

Methods: This descriptive study with 53 seven of units of the family health strategy professionals from March to July 2015. Data were collected through a self-administered instrument and analyzed in Excel 2007.

Strategies used by nurses to promote teamwork in an emergency room.

Objective to analyze the strategies used by nurses to promote teamwork in a hospital emergency room. Method qualitative case study research with 20 nurses in the emergency unit of a university hospital in southern Brazil. Data were collected between June and September 2009 through participant observation and semi-structured interviews, and analyzed using thematic analysis.

[Violence against women in the perspective of community health agents].

The current study has the objective of learning and understanding how Community Health Agents conceptualize, develop and perform strategies to counter violence against women attending the Family Health Strategies in a northeastern municipality of Rio Grande do Sul. It is an exploratory research, utilizing a descriptive and qualitative approach, carried out with 35 Community Health Agents. Semi-structured interviews were performed to collect the data, which were analyzed using the thematic model.

[Sexuality and breastfeeding: concepts and approaches of primary health care nurses].

The objective of this study is to identify the primary health care nurses' concepts about sexuality, and how this theme is integrated within the health care practices of these professionals when working with breastfeeding women. This qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study was performed with eight nurses from three primary health care units in a city in the north region of Rio Grande do Sul state. Data collection was performed through semi-structured interviews.

[Characterization of family health teams and their work process].

This study aims to learn the characteristics of Family Health Strategy (FHS) teams from a Regional Health Coordination of RS, identifying its difficulties in the work process. It is a qualitative exploratory-descriptive study, with a questionnaire application. Results revealed a group of young females with recent professional education.

[Health care given to patients with violence situations: conceptions of professionals in basic health units].

The following study aimed at analyzing the conceptions of basic health units' professionals on the service rendered to users with violence situations, within their different manifestations. It is a qualitative research conducted with nurses, doctors, nursing technicians, and communitarian health agents through semi-structured interviews. The set of data was collected from October 2007 and March 2008 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and analyzed through theme analysis.

[Nurses' view on the coordination of health actions among professionals of family health teams].

This study was aimed at knowing the conception nurses who work in the Family Health Program have about the development of teamwork regarding the coordination of the actions of the various professionals that comprise it. It is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews with 23 nurses.

[Challenges of team work according to nurses working in the family health program].

[The production of knowledge on nursing: challenges in the search of recognition in the interdisciplinary field].

It is about a thematic reflection regarding the current panorama of Nursing and the interdisciplinary issue in Health. It aims at reflecting and discussing about the Nursing practice and its production of scientific knowledge, as well as its influence in the relation with other jobs in the health area. For that, the interdisciplinary relations that exist between Nursing and several other health professions are approached.

[Health education with community groups: a strategy that facilitates health promotion].

This paper highlights a few aspects of health promotion and education that enable reasoning over the pertinence of the work developed with groups in the community. Group work makes it possible breaking the traditional vertical relationship between the health professional and the subject of his/her action. It is also a strategy that facilitates the expression of individual and collective needs, expectations and life circumstances that influence health.
