Objective: To investigate how the diagnosis of cancer during pregnancy occurred and assess its repercussions on the family experience of maternity.

Method: Qualitative research, based on Symbolic Interactionism and conducted according to the Grounded Theory method. Twelve women diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy and 19 of their family members participated in the study.

This qualitative and exploratory-descriptive study aimed to reveal the perceptions of puerperal women about prenatal service care. The data collected through semi-structured interviews were submitted to thematic analysis and consisted of the opinions of eight puerperal women. The access, booking of consultations and provision of priority services in case of complications were highlighted as qualifiers of the prenatal care.

The objective this study is to describe the actions and intervention projects in mental health in the health services of the cities that are part of Rio Grande do Sul's 15th Regional Health Coordinating Body (15a Coordenadoria Regional de Saúde). This work is a case study that aimed to acknowledge the reasons that persuade women-mothers from a same family to wean their children, and identify the feelings that accompany these women during this process. A semi-structured interview was used for data collection, and the analysis was done using Minayo's (1993) methodological orientations. It was concluded that weaning takes place due to various reasons such as: a new pregnancy, child's age, mother's or child's disease, and breast refusal by the child.
