: We aimed to compare cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) utilization and radiation exposure during prostatic artery embolization (PAE) procedures on two different angiography systems. : PAEs performed by a single interventionalist between January 2018 and October 2020 on two multivendor angiography systems (AS1 and AS2) at a single center were retrospectively evaluated. Imaging techniques included CBCT acquisition when possible, predominantly from the distal aorta in AS1 and from the bilateral internal iliac arteries in AS2 (Discovery IGS 740, GE HealthCare, Chicago, IL).

Clear Cell Stromal Tumor of the Lung: Clinicopathologic, Immunohistochemical, and Molecular Characterization of Eight Cases.

Clear cell stromal tumor is a recently described mesenchymal neoplasm of the lung, characterized by spindle cells with variably clear-to-pale eosinophilic cytoplasm and prominent vascularity, as well as a recurrent YAP1::TFE3 gene fusion in most cases. Diagnosis can be challenging given its rarity and the lack of supportive immunohistochemical (IHC) markers aside from TFE3. To date, less than 20 cases have been reported, and data on clinical behavior are also limited.

Background Prostatic artery embolization (PAE) is a safe, minimally invasive angiographic procedure that effectively treats benign prostatic hyperplasia; however, PAE-related patient radiation exposure and associated risks are not completely understood. Purpose To quantify radiation dose and assess radiation-related adverse events in patients who underwent PAE at multiple centers. Materials and Methods This retrospective study included patients undergoing PAE for any indication performed by experienced operators at 10 high-volume international centers from January 2014 to May 2021.

Aims: Scoliosis is a lateral curvature of the spine with associated rotation, often causing distress due to appearance. For some curves, there is good evidence to support the use of a spinal brace, worn for 20 to 24 hours a day to minimize the curve, making it as straight as possible during growth, preventing progression. Compliance can be poor due to appearance and comfort.

The tumor microenvironment (TME) is comprised of non-malignant cells that interact with each other and with cancer cells, critically impacting cancer biology. The TME is complex, and understanding it requires simplifying approaches. Here we provide an experimental-mathematical approach to decompose the TME into small circuits of interacting cell types.

Angiographic Analysis of Anatomical Variants in Adhesive Capsulitis Embolization.

Purpose: To analyze the complex shoulder vasculature and identify potential challenges during adhesive capsulitis embolization (ACE).

Materials And Methods: Two interventional radiologists evaluated angiographic findings from 21 ACE procedures. The suprascapular artery (SSA), thoracoacromial artery (TAA), coracoid branch (CB), circumflex scapular artery (CSA), and anterior/posterior circumflex humeral artery (ACHA/PCHA) were assessed for their presence, course, diameter within 1 cm of origin, angle to the proximal parent vessel, and distance from the clavicle.

PRC2 loss drives MPNST metastasis and matrix remodeling.

The histone methyltransferase PRC2 plays a complex role in cancer. Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNSTs) are aggressive sarcomas with frequent loss-of-function mutations in PRC2 that are associated with poor outcome. Here, we identify a critical role for PRC2 loss in driving MPNST metastasis.

Severity of traumatic adrenal injury does not meaningfully affect clinical outcomes.

Purpose: There are limited data comparing the severity of traumatic adrenal injury (TAI) and the need for interventions, such as transfusions, hospitalization, or incidence of adrenal insufficiency (AI) and other clinical outcomes. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between the grade of TAI and the need for subsequent intervention and clinical outcomes following the injury.

Methods: After obtaining Institutional Review Board approval, our trauma registry was queried for patients with TAI between 2009 and 2017.
