Alpha-adrenergic blockers are an established form of medical treatment for symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Several medications of the class are available, each with its own characteristics. This prospective study was designed to evaluate the efficacy of concomitant use of sildenafil and a vacuum entrapment device in men not satisfied with erectile function while using each of these treatment modalities separately.
Materials And Methods: A total of 161 patients suffering from erectile dysfunction for at least 6 months were evaluated and treated with 100 mg sildenafil and a VED each as monotherapy.
