Ischemic preconditioning in arterialized venous flap: Temperature effects and monitoring.

Introduction: Arterialized venous flap, like any other flap, will undergo an ischemic reperfusion injury during its transfer process. To overcome this, ischemic preconditioning can be done to provide protection and enhanced flap survival. One of the reliable parameters of flap survival is its temperature.

Nasal reconstruction on supernumerary nostril: A rare case report.

Introduction: A supernumerary nostril is one of the rarest congenital nasal abnormalities. Recently we encountered a 16-months-old patient with 3 supernumerary nostrils that was located at left side of the nose and performed an operation on this case. We reported a rare case of three supernumerary nostril located at left side of the nose.

Accuracy Rate of Methylene Blue Injection in Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy in Early-Stage Breast Cancer Patients: A Prospective Observational Study.

Objective: Breast cancer is the most prevalent cancer in women and can spread to the lymph nodes in the axilla. The sentinel lymph node is the first lymph node to be targeted for the spread or metastasis of cancer cells involving the lymph nodes. The aim of this study is to compare the accuracy rate of methylene blue injection into sentinel lymph nodes in early-stage breast cancer patients who have undergone incisional and excisional biopsies.
