Cardiovascular diseases remain the most frequent reason for deaths in the Republic of Bulgaria and also in Europe for 2016. A large number of deaths in Bulgaria could be prevented via an effective health-care system and quality health services. The fast rate at which catheterization laboratories expand throughout the Republic of Bulgaria imposes the necessity of trained nurses in the field of interventional cardiovascular diagnostics and therapy.
