Background: Metastasis directed treatment (MDT) is increasingly performed with the attempt to improve outcome in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients receiving targeted- or immunotherapy (TT/IT). This study aimed to assess the safety and efficacy of metastasis directed stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) concurrent to TT/IT in NSCLC patients.

Methods: A retrospective multicenter cohort of stage IV NSCLC patients treated with TT/IT and concurrent (≤ 30 days) MDT was established.

Introduction: This multicenter study aims to analyze outcome as well as early versus late patterns of recurrence following pulmonary stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for patients with oligometastatic non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Materials And Methods: This analysis included 301 patients with oligometastatic NSCLC treated with SBRT for 336 lung metastases. Although treatment of the primary tumor consisted of surgical resection, radiochemotherapy, and/or systemic therapy, pulmonary oligometastases were treated with SBRT.

Background: Although patients experience radiation proctitis post radiotherapy no internationally tested instruments exist to measure these symptoms. This Phase IV study tested the scale structure, reliability and validity and cross-cultural applicability of the EORTC proctitis module (QLQ-PRT23) in patients who were receiving pelvic radiotherapy.

Methods: Patients (n = 358) from six countries completed the EORTC QLQ-C30, QLQ-PRT23 and EORTC Quality of Life Group debriefing questions.

Background And Purpose: The purpose of this work was to evaluate the use of extended-field chemoradiation (EFRT) with concomitant chemotherapy in patients with histologically confirmed para-aortic metastases after laparoscopic para-aortic and pelvic lymphadenectomy (LAE) with regard to oncologic results and treatment-related toxicity.

Patients And Methods: A total of 44 women with squamous cell carcinoma (82 %) and adenocarcinoma (18 %) of the cervix in FIGO stages IIA (n = 3), IIB (n = 29); IIIB (n = 9), and IVA (n = 3) and histologically proven para-aortic metastases underwent EFRT and chemotherapy. Laparoscopic LAE was performed in 40 patients.
