Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune neurodegenerative disease in which the immune system attacks myelin basic protein of nerve axons. Recently, there has been growing interest in studying the role of a newly described population of immunity cells - innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) in the pathogenesis of the disease. Background: Cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL) is an inherited disease with unknown mechanisms and a broad phenotypic spectrum. It is caused by pathogenic variants in the gene. The symptoms of the disease mainly include recurrent strokes with vascular risk factors, migraine with aura, dementia, and mood disturbances.
